I'm not exactly researching this family line, but I do have the Aurland
Aettebok. Lars Larsen was born at Styve, Aurland, Norway 1808 son of Lars
Larsen Otternes and Gjertrud Ellendsdatter Kardal. Lars married Johanna
Sjursdatter Underdal in 1851 in Norway. She was the daughter of Sjur Ivarsen
Vinjum and Marta Ivarsdatter Kappadal.
They had one child, Lars, born 1852 in Norway and emigrated in 1855.
Somewhere I had gotten info that they were in Dakota County. Do you belong
to Ancestry.com?? There is a database there called the Minnesota Cemetery
Index by John Dalby that lists burials in 11 SE Minn. counties, including
Dakota Co.
