Hi Everybody,

For those who may not have heard, Ancestry.com, will be televising a 13 week series special on PBS. Each segment tells a story submitted by an amateur genealogist which details how specific records were used in their research. Experts also give information on using the records. Details of each segment are up on the website along with photos, streaming video, and links to other sites. For information, go to http://www.pbs.org/kbyu/ancestors/

If you want to know when the series begins, you can check your local TV Guide, or on the Ancestry homepage, above
!) Click on "TV Schedules",
2) Type in your zip code & click on "Find My Local Station",
3) When the "Station Finder" menu comes up, click on your favorite local PBS station icon,
4) When the "Station Finder" screen comes up, click on "See the TV Schedule",
5) When the calendar comes up you can either check the schedule by day, or (preferable to find this special) click on "Monthly Program Summary",
6) When the "TV Schedule" screen comes up, you will see a list of all programs for the month ... Click on "Ancestors",
7) You now will see a list of dates & times that the special airs this month. You can repeat these steps for next month, but I believe the series airs on the same weekday and time each week.

Enjoy the series, and learn a lot about genealogical research.
