I am trying to find information on my great grandparents arrival in America as well as their marriage records.

My great grandfather CARL EKSTROM came to Minnesota with his first wife . She died soon after arrival . He then married my great grandmother , MINNIE ( WILHELMINA) SVENNSON , sometime in the early 1870's.

Several years ago I found them in the membership records of the Trinity Lutherun Church in Watertown. The records indicated that Carl came to America in 1867 and Minnie in 1868. Both Carl and Minnie brought children into the marriage as well as having their own. Eventually they ended up in Maple Plain. I have been unable to find anything else prior to 1879 .


Any help would be appreciated .
