I am new and I am researching where my ggrandfather was between 1888 and
1905. He left Nova Scotia in about 1887 1 week after marrying my
ggrandmother and went to MN to "seek work" or so he said. Think it was a
midlife crisis myself as he was in his 40's. He left my ggrandmother
pregnant, although it was too soon for her to tell when he left.
He was gone in the time period, and I believe he was in Hennepin County as
that is where he did show up on the census once. I would like to find if he
married while there and if there were any children.
My ggrandmother divorced him for desertion and when he returned in 1905 she
remarried him. She was living in MA at the time of their remarriage.
Any help is appreciated. His name was Alexander C Stewart.

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free and I won't
forget the men who died who gave that right to me and I gladly stand up next
to you and defend her still today cause there ain't no doubt I love this
land, God Bless AMerica.
