Larayne,
I found only one Annie Carey in 1900 in MN and she was listed in Scott
County, Blakely Twp.
There was an A.J. Cary in St. Paul, and then there's an Addie "Wry" --that's
what the transcriber wrote, but looks to me like Addie May Carey, in
Minneapolis. Her age is not real clear, but looks like possibly 35, she was
a widow with one daughter May, age 11. Addie born WI., parents both born
WI. They are living on Girard Ave N.
Before I sent you the census I thought I'd see if you thought it might be
her.
The Annie Carey in Scott County is single, age 26/36?. Of course this one is
a bad copy and I can't make out the head of the household's last name, but
first name appears to be Hattie, a female age 43, born Indiana. Annie Carey
is a sister to Hattie. Hattie has a son, (Edward/Elvin?) daughter Addie,
and Leila.
Let me know if there's a fit with either of these. There were no other
females with a name close to Annie/Anna.
