Jo,

I want you, Claudia, and Elaine to know I appreciate your efforts on the
"front lines", and agree that no one should be a victim of pornography, profanity,
spam, or unwanted e-mail intrusions.

Hopefully the ISP will correct the lack, and shield List Administrators also
- in the meantime heartfelt "thank yous" for your genealogical labor on behalf
of those of us using the lists!

Claudia has been the best for this list, and I have no doubt that Elaine
will do well also.

It is just frustrating that the list admins have to get the garbage that is
shielded from all of you. I do not understand why it gets sent to us, but
it
does.
Just have to try and not be bothered but sometimes seeing your email list
full of 30 subject lines all containing the worst profanity you can imagine

well, it is hard to deal with sometimes. I can never read my genealogy
mailing list mail when my grandchildren are sitting beside me for fear of
what
they will see. There is something wrong there.

But what is wrong is that people think they can send us that kind of stuff.
It doesn't matter who you are, they are going to send it. Everywhere we
look we have censorship for the worst of the profanity but not here. I
think
they should be arrested for spam and pornography. The ISP knows who they
are.
