I sent for a coroner's inquest that was issued in 1938 in Marshall County,
Indiana for a great-aunt who committed suicide by turning on the gas. I
just sent a letter to the Marshall County Clerk of Court and they sent me a
copy of the report. I don't remember if they charged anything, but if they
did, it was only for photocopy fees.

I also sent for a 1993 medical examiner's report on a cousin who died in San
Diego County, CA. I addressed the letter to the Medical Examiner's Office
and, once again, they sent me a copy of the report.
