I have found my Irish Catholic Welch family in 1870 Minneapolis, Ward
3.

Where would Ward 3 have been in 1870? St Anthony's Falls? In an 1879
family Will her residence of St Anthony's Falls has been crossed out and
written above it is Minneapolis, E. D..

Mary Couch Welch was born in 1835 in the Parish of Kilbolane, now the
Milford Parish of North Co Cork Ireland. She is shown with her husband
and 7 children in this MN census.

Can anyone determine her husband's name in this census? Ancestry records
it as Gary but I've never known a 19th century Irishman to be named
Gary.

To date I have not been able to find them in any other census.
