Can anyone help me find more info on my greatgrandfather, David
Stiefel, born on June 13, 1842 in Wurtenberg, Germany to Charles and
Christine Stiefel. He immigrated to America in 1863 and fought in the
Civil War before coming to Lyons Twps. , Faribault County where he lived
the rest of his life. He married Jennie Jones in 1881. I have searched
his Civil War record, census record, obit, etc and cannot find where in
Wurtenberg, Germany he came from. Would like to search further in
Germany. Also would like to know if he sister's and brother's. Any help
would be appreciated. Does anyone have any info on his wife Jennie
Jones?
