Surname: Adamson
-------------------------
Looking for info on Andrew and Julia Adamson, emigrated from Bergen, Norway
(approx 1859-1861). They first lived at Swan Lake in Minnesota. They lived
in Traverse, Nicolett County at least between 1870-1880 according to MN
census records. One of their sons, William H. Adamson continued to reside
on the old homestead in Traverse.
I have a newspaper article about the indian uprising in 1862 and how Julia
hid with her children in the swamp until the indians left the area and
it was safe to return to their home.
If you have any info about this family please let me know.
