I am seeking more information concerning William Lange b.1831 in Brunswick,Lower Saxony, Germany. He and his wife emigrated to America in 1852. William bought a share in the New Ulm Company, which a group of Germans from Hannover, Germany had decided to form. The group came to Cook county Illinois and spent time there before moving to New Ulm in Brown County Minnesota. William did not like the New Ulm area after living there a short time, so he and his wife set out for Belgrade township where they stopped for a while. June 4, 1856 the couple had increased their family by two when Charles and Frederick were born. The family later moved to Oshawa township where they settled and began farming. Mary died in 1882. William remarried in December of 1883 to Fredericka Cohrs of Oshawa. She had a daughter, Olivia, and three other children by that time. She had been married to Ernst Cohrs, who died in 1881. William died in 1907 in St.Peter, Mn. I am not certain where Fredericka died, bu!
t possibly in LeSueur County, Minnesota.
Any help given would be much appreciated.
