I am looking for the my roommates kinfolk. I have his greatgrand father as a Chandler Wendell Sr. born 1885 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois married to a Alice H.
GGF parents were born in Germany with the Wendelschafer as a last name. I am think Julius H Wendelschafer and Henriette Johanna Kuske also from Germany. But what I am finding is that Wendelschafer was a common name much like Smith or Jones back in Germany. I can not make the true connect from GGF Wendell Sr. to 2GGF Julius H Wendelschafer.
