I was able to find the obit for William Ronan (translation below). There was no paper the week after John's death. I did check the following weeks with no luck. I did find the death certificates for both. Please email me at and I can send those over to you.

William Ronan Died Early This Morning
Had Been Prominent in Civic Work and Servied as Mayor and on the City Council
Following an illness since April 1, caused by heart trouble, William Ronan died at the home of Mrs. John Ronan this (Thursday) morning at 5:30 o'clock. He was 70 years old.
He was born at Green Bay, Wis., March 13, 1860. He came to Worthington in 1894 and has continued to make this city his home, living with his brother, John Ronan, and family. He engaged in live stock buying. He served several terms on the city council and held the office of mayor for two terms. He was also vice president of the Worthington National Bank at one time. Mr. Ronan was a member of St. Mary's church.
Surviving him are his brothers, James Ronan and Richard Ronan of Beresford, SD; Thomas Ronan, Redfield, SD; Morris Ronan, Lane, SD; and one sister, Mrs. Ed. Dolan of Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
