I found an A. B. Champagne on the Naturalization Records Index from Polk
County. He may have come to the area about 1881. I am looking for information
on him or a family in the area. He was in Idaho in 1880-81 and left quite
a legacy which it appears he knew little about. I am writing a history
of an area in Butte County, Idaho, where he ran a stage station and a Creek
was named after him. Any family that might be related will be given copies
of some historic documents he left behind.
