There is one rural cemetery about 7 miles north of East Grand Forks, on
MN Hiway 220: Bethany Lutheran, P.O. Box 360, East Grand Forks, MN 56721,
218/773-1501. Bethany is a merger of two churches, one of which was Bethesda
Swedish. A Norwegian Lutheran church was literally across the road! They
later mergered. If your grandfather was "Andrew" or "O. Metz" and your
great-uncle was "S.E. Erickson," please advise as I have more information
for you.
