BLM is where I found the copy of the certificate- is that what you refer
to as the homestead file? According to the document it is Homestead Certificate
No. 4068, Application No. 7435. "east half of the southwest quarter and
the lots numbered six and seven of section six in township one hundred
and forty-one north of range forty-six west of the Fifth Principal Meridian
in Minnesota, containing one hundred and fifty-three and sixty-nine hundredths
of an acre".

The number 384178 is written in the lower left of the document.
