Digging around in my notes I found this information. "There was an Amelia
Brosseau {bapt. Marie Alam Amelia} b. in LaPrairie, Quebec 24 March 1880.
She was one of seven children born to Edmond Brosseau & Marie Philomene
Duquet {b.15 Jan 1849}. Amelia's brother was Joseph Brosseau {born Louis
Raphael Brosseau}. She lived around Livingston, Mont. after moving from
Crookson, Minn. Edmond Brosseau died in Superior, Wis. 23 Dec 1890". I can't
remember where on the internet I found this information. I saved it because
because my great grandmother was born in Quebec, Canada in 1853. Her name
was Marie Sylvina Brosseau/Brasseau/Bossard. She married Eugene StMars and
they were in Polk Co. by 1885. I don't know anything about Sylvina {Vina's}
family except that she still had a brother living in Canada when she died in
1925. Who knows, maybe there is a connection here. Shirley
