Birth certificates from that era, if they were filed, would be found at the county seat, Crookston. I'd first try contacting the church for baptism records. St. Paul's was founded in 1897 and still (I believe) exists. I could only find two Lutheran churches in the village of Lengby, so St. Paul's might be a country church. I'd suggest calling one of these churches. They should have a phone number for St. Paul's.
