I am searching John and William H. Sweet who were born in Canada. At the time of the 1851 census they were farmed out to the Wannamaker (John) and Woof (William) families. By 1880 they were living together in Sheldon, Houston Cty., Minnesota.
There are many unanswered questions: who were their parents and why were these children (Mary Ann and James were in jail for larceny ie. stealing food)(Eliza living with the Blair family)all over the place in Northumberland County, Percy Township.
