Dear Janice,
I have no info about Hans Steberg but I thought you might be interested to know that there is a farm called Steberg in central Norway and that everyone with that name has his family roots there. There are according to my estimates some 60 Stebergs alive today, a handful in Norway, some here in Sweden and about 30 in the US.

How are your related to the Steberg family?
