this is a long shot, but there was an Ordman family that invested in 3M
inc. when it was a new company. There is an Ordman Theater in St. Paul,
Minnesota, named after an heir who got the theater built.
You might try www.mmm.com & look for history and early investors
www.mnhs.org for the state Historical Soc.
and try in google the words: Ordman Theater St. Paul Minnesota (look for
history of the theater)
Ordman could well be a simplified version of Ordemann.
Good luck!
