In 1898 the east half of the southeast quarter of Section 25, New Avon Twp., was owned by A. Benham. H. Fritz owned the west half of the southeast quarter. In addition, A. Benham owned the southwest quarter of Section 25 and H. Lindeman owned the northeast and northwest quarters.
