I recently got my GG Grandfathers death cert and would like to know if anyone on this list has access to old newspapers for Sanborn, and could look up a story for me? I live in Washington. I contacted the Newspaper and the time period I needed was missing (April of 1909).

Family history states that Grandpa Jacob was a sheriff in a small town in Minnesota and some of the town folks didn't like him very well and they hung him with barbed wire.

The death cert says he was strangled from a falling roll of wire accidently falling across his neck.

Jacob Nickel/Nikkel was born in Russia 1856, was a widow, Died in Sanborn, on April 16 1909 his occupation was a farmer(from death cert).
