I also am following the Iverson/Christopherson/Lyse family. Christopher (Sr) was married twice and was buried next to his 2nd wife, Maria near Arkdale, WI.

Someone actually wrote a book and it goes back to the 1300's. I don't know how to obtain one and I have a copy that my mom gave to me.

There is some pretty decent information in there as to where the farm was near Stavanger and someone's recollection of what life was like. Also, there is some family pictures and a copy of a certificate signed by Andrew Johnson acknowledging someone's participation in the wagon trains heading west. Really cool stuff.

If you have any questions, or can share any info, I'd appreciate someone contacting me.
