I am looking for any information on a William Dodge. this is what I have so far.
Dodge, William, A.: Born in New York State in 1834. Moved to Wisconsin at the age of 17, then to Red Wing, and from 1879 to 1880 was in the hotel business in Minnesota Falls, the hotel burned and he opened a livery business. Enlisted in Co C 1st Reg. MN, he was 31 years old. Was in March 10th 1865 to July 14 1865. Married at Janesville WI, in 1855, Almira Conat; they lost one child and have seven that lived.
The first election in MN Falls was held at William Dodges hotel in MN falls on April 5, 1873 . Unknown burial site
1890 soldier, sailor, marine report:
PVT 1st MN Inf. 1865 to 1865
Post Office Address: Granite Falls
Place of Residence in 1900: Hennepin County
