Hi Wendy. I live at Wannaska. Roseau County is located in the northwest part of Minnesota. It's county seat is Roseau . Wannaska is 14 miles south of Roseau. Wannaska has always been a part of Roseau county so you would have to find the U.S. census for 1920, then Minnesota, then Roseau county. I can't help you with a township as we have several. You could try the Roseau County Historical Society. Their email address is . I have never heard of that name before but often time people changed their names to fit an area.
