I have located an obituary of a Nic. Siegfried from the Belle Plaine Herald- 12 Sep. 1906- Nic died on Friday, Sept. 7, 1906 in Belle Plaine of cancer of the stomach. He was 66 years old. He came to the US from Luxembourg, first settling in Jordan, later at St. Benedict, then moved to Beaver Falls. In 1884 he moved to Belle Plaine. He left two children: Mrs. Mary Waxweiler of Minneapolis, and Lizzie. His wife died ca. 1899. He was buried in Belle Plaine, Minnesota.
