Thank-you Betty! I have finally made contact with Blue Earth county researchers. Hopefully, they can locate John & Wilhelmina Schulenberger. There is definately a huge chance that Caroline Ernst is buried in an unmarked grave. I did notice a couple of Ernst families in the census living near Belle Plaine but I am not sure how they are related to Caroline's second husband (namely John August Ernst). Sometimes family history (stories passed down) can be inaccurate and this may be the case with this family. I finally found John & Wilhelmina Schulenberg living in Mankato in the 1920 census and Wilhelmina living in Mankato in the 1930 census. John was living in Mankato in the 1880 census also. Haven't found John & Wilhelmina in the 1900 or 1910 census yet -- they seem to grossly mispell Schulenberger in most census lists.
