I noticed in this thread that you may be descended from a MRS. JOHN JANSEN of Shakopee, Scott Cnty, MN.

I am Jansen/Janssen descendant back to Germany and beyond. Havert area comes up often.

My John H. Jansen was b. 1891 in Shakopee. He was a nephew of my Gr-grandfather. I do not have anything on his descendants, but have his ancestry.

I have many surnames, of this branch, connected with Scott, Carver, and Wright Cnty, MN.

If your Pfaus daughter was married to my John H. Jansen, I can definitely help you with the Jansen line.

If we can find even a small connection, I may be able to help you with areas in Germany/Belgium/Netherlands to research as well.

My Jansen's span from the 1600's to present. From Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and MN,USA.

Please be patient awaiting my reply---as I haven't had much time to check that email account lately.
