Carolyn, Ernest Baier is not my relative but did some looking. You may know this already. The census' show him and Mary in Steele and Wright co. He immigrated in 1892-3, Mary in 1891-2. Mary's maiden name could be Borchart as a brother-in-law is living with them in 1900. Seven children; one, Walter died in Wright co in 1992 and Gus in 1934 in Hennepin co
