In the Eden Lake Cemetery (Stearns County) there is a metal tombstone.
I would like to know if this was very common (didn't locate another
metal one in this cemetery). Marble seems to be quarried in Stearns
County, so why would someone want to erect a very elaborate metal
tombstone ... with data on each of the 4 sides. Tombstone stands about
4 feet high and is about 18 inches x18 inches square at the base.

Any thoughts or knowledge on metal tombstone in "marble country"?
