According to Index to Gravestones, "ST. WENDELIN CEMETERY: Located
in the Village of Luxemburg, St. Augusta Township, Stearns,
Minnesota. The St. Wendelin Catholic Church has death records from
1858. Tombstone inscriptions copied 6-8 Nov 1974 by Wava Tiers
Thompson and Gretchen Leisen."

I want to say that it doesn't bode well for that 1849 death record...

Sounds like a project...wonder how many records are missing...wonder
how much of that might be true for the county as a whole...
