Hi,
I hope you still have the same email address since it's been several years since you've posted this message. However, I did find Sven Larsson who you are looking for. It all fits.
He's living with John Svenson and wife, Mary & several children--the ages fit. Sven Larson age 88, listed as Father-in-law in the 1880 census for Marine Township, Washington Co., Minnesota.

Are you related to Nels Peter, Anders Anderson, or Johannes Amandus Sjostrand who lived in Marine, Washington, MN?
