Seeking info or connections on our BANKE tree. Our BANKEs are from
Prussia>Wright County, MN>OR>WA. Many of our BANKEs lived recently in
Portland, Multnomah County, OR and Vancouver, Clark County, WA.

In Sheridan Oregon we are searching for affiliated families of STEVENS
(Silverton, OR), MILLER (LittleRock, AR>Sheridan), and ADAM(S) (Wright Co.,
MN>Sheridan, OR), also.

MARY BANKE
July 22, 1901 - December 16, 1987

MARY BANKE, daughter of Abraham and Sarah ABDERHALDEN, was born July 22,
1901, at Ebnat, Switzerland.

Mary moved with her family to the United States in 1907. She attended school
in Rock Creek, Oregon. In 1913 she attended school at Gooseneck School near
Buell, Oregon, until graduating.

She married Martin BANKE on November 22, 1922, in Sheridan, Oregon. In 1928,
they moved to McMinnville, Oregon where she lived for almost 60 years until
her death.

Mary was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in McMinnville. She loved
flowers and gardening and she was an excellent homemaker.

Surviving are five sons; Vic BANKE, McMinnville, OR; Ed BANKE, Carlton, OR;
Don BANKE, Cornelius, OR; Martin BANKE, Seattle, WA; Jim BANKE, Newberg, OR;
two daughters: Shirley CALDWELLl, Poulsbol, WA; Dorothy TAPP, McMinnville,
OR; one sister, Elizabeth PIATT, Molalla, OR; 20 grandchildren, and 14
great-grandchildren.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband, Martin, on September 28, 1984,
and her son, Marvin.

MARY BANKE departed this life on December 16, 1987, at the age of 86 years, 4
months, and 24 days.
