Marriage Book C page 281 says "Iver Russ Monson Lee married Mathilda H. Griener 23 Sep 1879 Witnesses: Andrew Sinup and Sophie Nilson
Ev. Lutheran Minister: John S. Nilson, pastor Married in Marysville.

One baby is listed in the Birth Index:
Lee ----- b. Oct. 1884 Book 2 p. 83 line 12 Parents: Iver & Matilda from Norway Registered Jan. 2, 1885

Delayed Birth Record:
Lee, Charles Oscar b. Sept. 10, 1888 Book 3 page 21 line 34 in Victor Township Father: Iver b. Norway age 38 Mother: Matilda born Norway age 36
Filed July 10, 1942 by mother-in-law with an insurance policy

Death book F p. 313, line 146: Mattilde Lee d. 11/27/1935 Howard Lake Village, Wright County, MN She was female, white, widow B. 27 Mar 1858 died at age 77years-8months-0days Housewife Died of Pneumonia(lobar right), myocarditis arteriosclerosis (3 days) born in Norway

Obituary:

"Mrs. Lee whose maiden name was Mattilde Hensen was born in Drammen, Norway and died Wednesday night at her home in Howard Lake of pneumonia. She spent her girlhood days there and came to this country and to Minnesota at the age of 23. She was married shortly after to Iver Lee. They settled on a farm near Howard Lake.

Five children were born of this marriage, three of whom survive. Her husband and two children preceded her in death. Mr. Lee and son, Henry, in 1900, and an infant son who died at birth."



Death Book D, page 34, line 16 : Iver Lee d. 10/2/1900 Victor Township, Wright County, MN intered in Howard Lake. White, male, married b. Aug. 23, 1849 died age 51-1-9 Farmer born in Norway Father: Rasmus Lee b. in Norway. Mother: unknown Died of TB (3 mo.) cerrhosis of liver (6 yrs.)

Obituary:
Howard Lake Herald vol. 2 #5 Oct. 11, 1900
"Mr. Iver Lee was born at Eaker Norway on Dec. 15, 1849. He died on the Pearson farm east of Howard Lake Oct. 2, 1900. Of his own family he leaves his wife and four children to mourn his loss. Two sisters reside in Norway. Four brothers, two of whom were present at the funeral are living in this country. He was a member of the AOUW who had charge of the funeral."
