The two biographies below are taken from the
"Official Manual of the State of Missouri 1909-1910"
Page 75. I have no connection, or further information,
about these people. Surnames include: TRIMBLE,
TIMMS, FOLK, ALEXANDER, MUENCH, & THAMER.
Leslie (Bridges) Kohler

Francis Henshaw Trimble:
Judge of the Seventh Circuit
Born in Clay County, MO, 21 Dec 1867. He rec'd his education
in the district schools of Plattsburg, Plattsburg College, and at
William Jewel College, Liberty, MO. He has been a resident of
the state since his birth and married Miss Lulu Timms, youngest
daughter of Joseph H. Timms of Liberty, MO, 10 Sept 1891.
Judge Trimble was appointed judge of the seventh judicial circuit
by Governor Folk on 1 Feb 1907, to succeed judge J.W.
Alexander, resigned, who was elected to congress. Prior to his
appointment on the circuit bench he was prosecuting attorney of
Clay County two terms, from 1899-1902, and was a member of
the Forty-third General Assembly in 1905. Elected 1908.
Hugo Muench:
Judge of the Eighth District - Division One - St. Louis
Was born in Warren County, MO, 14 July 1851. He is a son of
"Far West" Frederick Muench, a pioneer citizen of MO and state
senator, and received his educational training under the tutorship
of his father, later attending Washington University in St. Louis,
graduating in 1873. he was admitted to the bar in St. Louis and
has been in active practice in that city ever since, except when
abroad in the consular service of the United States. He married
Miss Eugenia F. Thamer at St. Louis, 12 November 1874; was
a member of the St. Louis Board of Public Schools from 1886 to
1888; American Consul in Saxony, Germany, April 1902, 1 Oct
1905, resigning to resume the practice of law in St. Louis. He was
elected to the circuit bench in Nov. 1906. His wife died 9 May 1907.
