Subject: [MO-AR-WRV] Civil War Information
Somewhere; in the not too distant past, yet I do not remember where, I found
a list of local Civil War soldiers that included my great-great-grandfather,
Thomas J. Mitchell. It listed him as having enlisted, I believe in Taney
Co., as a bugle boy.
Now, I am trying to find out what company, etc., for ordering information
about his war record. I want to have a GAR stone placed at his grave, or
marker of some kind, etc.
Any ideas on where to find this information, etc.; or where I might have
seen it?
Thanks!
