had very good results from posting minimal info to these boards that stay on
view)

I did not find anything posted there currently on Hermann, Gasconade Co.,
Missouri but there were some August Scharf listed-----you will want to read
through the 33 items that come up when you search for August Scharf. You
might recognize things that I wouldn't have known to look for.

Also, you may want to search the archives at rootsweb.com
in both colony lists for Germaine Colony I and II. Your Stoecklin and Scharf
might have come through one of those early colonies. Again, Good luck in your
