My great-grandfather (John Henry Christman) mentioned Turnbo in his diary. Any other info on the Turnbo School and surrounding area would be appreciated. For a time, he went by John Henry (Henry as last name). I found him, wife and 2 daughters on the 1880 census in Jefferson, Jackson, Arkansas (John, Lucinda, Tina and Fannie HENRY) . Also found Chattel Mortgage dated March 24, 1888 between J. H. Christman of Ozark, MO and A.(or H. ) S. Layton & Co. These are my treasures - all I've found on him. Beverly Broekema
