I get also. However, I think I can "top" it. Last year, at my mother's oldest
sister's funeral (she was one of 9 children), the husband of my aunt's dtr. came up
to me and said, "I hear you are doing the family history and have lots of
information. Here is my card. Send me a copy of everything you have." No, " would
you, could you, kiss my elbow" or nothing! I have 4794 individuals, 28, 503 text
records and have both maternal lines traced back to William the Conqueror in 1066. I
guess the guy is still waiting. First and, I hope, last time I ever see the idiot!
But, I'm still laughing!

Your will note, I have Xed out the family surname.

This note had no Salutation and no Signature, No offer to exchange data,
No clue as to how he/she might fit within the family.

I am sure, whoever this person is, will be taken aback since I didn't
send any information on the 92 individuals, their spouses, children and
grandchildren, I would estimate that I have information on some 150
members of this particular family surname going back to 1754 (this isn't
a main branch of my family).
