Trying to find info on great-grandmother & family. Elizabeth Eveline Dees(e) was born in Mo. Dec. 1848, father James, mother unknown. I have nothing for her before 1867 when she married James Ransom Feagan in Jefferson Cty. Illinois. Census data consistently list Mo. as her birthplace and Tenn. as birthplace for both parents. There is a Catherine Deese in the Ill. marriage records who married a Knox. In the census her birthplace is also listed as Mo, but don't know if she has any connection to Elizabeth. I've heard there is a "Dees Cemetery" somewhere in Mo. Would appreciate any help you can give me.
