Hi, I have to ask, why do you say Carroll County, Mo (now Boone County)? There is a definite
Carroll County in Mo. on maps and I have been there. Was it once much larger (would have to have
been as Boone County isn't next to it) or was the other one renamed and this one stayed Carroll
County. It was Carroll County when my people came to it before 1830's. I'm just curious, and the
County Seat is Carrollton. Maybe they had 2 Carroll Countys at one time. Thanks for all this
info. Alma Hepp
