Misty, these directions are from the Cemetery books published by the
Texas County Genealogy Society. It states the starting point of all
directions is from the intersection of Highways 32 and 63 at Licking.

Craddock - Take highway 32 West approx. 3 miles to highway N. Turn
Right onto N, go to highway AF, turn left onto AF, go approx. two
miles. The Cem is located on the left hand side of AF.

Shafer - Take highway 63 North, at the Licking Cem (on the right).
Take the road on the Left of 63 approx. 3 miles to the Cem on the
right hand side of the road.

Licking - This Cem can be seen looking North from the junction of
highways 63 and 32 on the East side of highway 63.

Old Cavaness - Info from Mrs. Nancy Pittman advises it was not
possible to reach this plot to record the info on the stones. One
would need a horse or a 4-wheel drive vehicle to foard the river to
reach the Cem. She says, In a field looking across big Piney River
from the Narrow Gap Bluff is the CAVANESS Cem. An acre of ground in
Johnnie Caveness' name. What is now called the Cavaness Cem. was the
old Smith Cemetery.

Burnett directions are Take Highway 32 West to the first gravel road
on the left after you cross Piney River bridge. Turn left onto gravel
road, bear to the left, go past the Cavaness Cem. Keeping to the left
go down the hill continue until you come to two locked gates, the Cem
is behind the gate on the right, located about 200 yards out in the
woods on the left hand side of the road. It is down the hill from the
gate.

These books were published 1983 - ie 20 years ago, so directions could
have changed with the up-grading of highways, etc. I do not live
there, so do not personally know.
