I never heard of such a thing. I have had all kinds of pics. copied from 100
years old to just a few years. When my oldest son died in 1989, his sister
took in a wallet size that had been taken by a professional company in about
1985 and had 100 copies made to include in funeral handouts. Not one word was
said by the photo copying place. She paid the charges and got her copies and
her original.
I hope u got the original picture back when they trashed the copy.
