Thanks Helen - Williams isn't an uncommon name so my brick wall may stay just that for some time.

Bev. My Williams' were in Clay or Platte County. Looked for Land records
yesterday in Clay, but nothing. They may have lived right on the border of
Clay and Platte, because they buried a baby in the Goss cemetery that is in
Platte County. Haven't heard the name that you mentioned.
