Dear Martina,
Some of the information regarding your cemetery of interest may be found at
the following URL's:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~mofrankl/cemeteries.htm
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?z=15&n=4277682.0000843&e=646113.000005942&da
tum=nad83&u=5
I would suggest that you contact the county coordinator of the website at
the first URL, Sue Cooley , and ask if she can help you
with a lookup on an individual of interest in that cemetery.
Good luck and good hunting.
Sincerely yours,
Wayne Johnson

Hello Martina,
Welcome to the list! My husband's great-grandfather came to the
United States in 1850. He married in the state of New York, and
they settled in Macon County, Missouri.

Hello everyone!
My name is Martina and I just joined the list. I live in Germany and am
researching my Dad's family with the last name Karlmeier (there used to be
lots of different spellings over time, some being Karrelmeyer and
Carlmeyer
as well). We know that my great-great-grandfather's brother Heinrich
Christoph Karlmeier (Karrelmeyer?) emigrated to the States in 1867. I
found
an entry online that a Henry Christoff Carlmeier got married to Catharine
W.
Kamper April 2nd 1869 in Franklin County, Missouri. I was hoping that
someone might be able to help me in finding information on his tombstone
(if
that still exists) to double-check if he really is the one I am looking
for.
And I found an entry somewhere about a Kallmeyier Cemetery and I am
courious
to find out more about that if that might have been named after distant
relatives and just got misspelled. The name is very seldom in Germany
(with
out spelling about 20 in the German phone-book and Carlmeyer about another
20 and Karrelmeyer 5, which are probably all connected.).
I would appreciate any help in this and any info on the history of that
cemetery.
Thank you!
Greetings from Germany, Martina Breeden, nee Karlmeier
