Loretta,

I didn't remember one fact. Apparently they used the available money for awhile, primarily to mow the Cemetery. When the money ran low and/or the other growth got so it wasn't easily mowed they stopped. Even then there were other things needed done that mowing alone wouldn't take care of.

It wouldn't help either that the road leading to it was bad. I understand even some of the County Commissioners are presently living on roads that are in bad condition.

You might contact the County Clerks office yourself and ask if there is a way you and others could contribute to the Proctor Cemetery.

It's one of those sites that won't just let you link to the information you want.

I am setting her with tears over all the information you have come up
with today. I know I will gladly give some thing toward keeping this
cemetery looking better and will gladly drive the 7 hours to be there
that first time it is cleaned off .

I went looking for this cemetery because some one else wanted pictures
of his grandfathers grave. Now that I found it I feel that some thing
has to be done
Here are a few pictures I took before I gave up. It was so hard to find
any one in this cemetery

the cemetery is north of Trenton off of hiway 65. You go north to hi
way O . Go 1/2 mile past O turn right and go about a mile and a half
.It it just past a farn and it is on the tight side of the road
