Subject: Neglected cemetery's

A month ago I commented on finding the Proctor cemetery neglected and
uncared for . Orlena had found that there was a $2500 CD held by the
county and the interest is to be used for its up keep. ($300). The
county has looked at the cemetery and deemed that is is to much work
for the $300 so nothing is going to be done .

Wrote to the Grundy county Genealogical Society and they will do
nothing . I wrote to the new paper got no answer.

I now have the phone no. of one of the county commissioner and will be
calling him tonight on my free cell phone min. Also have another no. to
call . I hope you all are working to keep the cemetery's in your area
in good shape

And Sharon I would go get that stone as it look like no one cares about
the past..
