I too have been addicted to genealogy for many years. It becomes an
obsession at times. I have to commend you on Greene County cemeteries.
I've been to a few there and some are quite large. We visit cemeteries
frequently in Phelps County and the surrounding area. Many are in very sad
shape and need a great deal of work. Unfortunately, some will never have
the care they deserve. I too have always enjoyed going to cemeteries and I
find them peaceful and soothing. I have a great many connections in the
Newburg Cemetery and find myself driving there often.
I wanted to ask if in your travels of cemeteries you could see if you have
found a stone for Elmer Ellsworth and Bessie Wilson. I am told they are
buried in Springfield, but I do not know where. Bessie (Earp) Wilson was my
gg-aunt. There were 12 brothers and sisters and I'm attempting find the
burial sites for all of them. I have found most of them and am anxious to
finish.
Again, great job, you are an inspiration to the rest of us.
Denise
