Hi Sue,
I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for CLARK'S in MO, ILL, NY, and have an Ambrose CLARK. He was supposedly my Grandmother's brother, although my Father doesn't remember any brother being mentioned. Just all girls. "My" Ambrose was born 9 July, 1885, Maybe MO, not sure, to Fred and Letta (LITTICK) CLARK. Fred's father was Frank CLARK, from NY(?) Ring any bells? I thought maybe Ambrose was named for an uncle or something. I'm looking now for a death/burial site, which is how I stumbled onto your post. Thanks for any info.
